Part Duex
This is a revamp of the original piece that I uploaded on . Just a few tweaks and adjustments, as well as a more realistic looking shadow. You may also notice that all of Mehr's spikes are now filed down, this is because a change in his background story.
I also fixed his eye and removed that silly impossible strand of hair that was laying on top of it. The rest of the mane is still slightly anti-gravity but I wasn't planning on going back to square one with this image.
On one final note the full view of the image is also slightly larger then the one on Tweckbug.



Dicorians
Elusive feral equine-like creatures that have existed on Dwavani for as long as there has been written history.
Obviously they are not docile creatures, the armor and dual horns serve as both defensive and offensive weapons. Their body structure resembles that of a canine, giving them the physical ability to crouch, lay down, and even scratch their ear like a dog would. Their hooves are split into three different toes, each flexible enough to grip rocky, mountain terrain. The spines along their backs serve only as a defensive attribute, normally if something attempted to mount their backs the spikes would be rammed into the attacker. However, as seen on Mehr, captured or domesticated Dicorians have their spikes filed down as to prevent injury to the rider.

As a species Dicorians are predominantly docile in nature, though before the Second New Age it's recorded that they were quite different. Mehrthios is a prime example of an Old Age Dicorian, who refuses to interact with any Itzalos (human) except of course for Calina.
Inter and Outer species communication is obtained by the Dicorian's knowledge of the mute words, where language is not spoken but felt through connection to one another. However full communication through mute words is only possible with a bonded partner. Without the bond all an observer registers are disembodied emotions that more often then not cause the listener great alarm.
